Art of the Guitar 2023 Peek!
What is Art of the Guitar?
Brace yourselves for an extraordinary display at Art of the Guitar! Forty-five highly skilled artists, including the renowned cartoonist William Bubba Flint, the innovative India Hearne of Whiski Designs, versatile artist IZK Davies, and the gifted oil/acrylic painter Brianne Moore, have breathed new life into 45 donated guitars, turning them into breathtaking works of art. But these aren’t just any pieces of art – each one is a beacon of hope, raising funds for Foundation 45’s crucial mental health services and community initiatives like the recent Narcan Happy Hour.
The fortunate highest bidder will not only become the owner of a one-of-a-kind guitar but will also be privy to a personal account, shedding light on the artist’s relationship with Foundation 45 and their personal journey towards mental wellness. With the engaging Nilufer Arsala of KXT 91.7 at the helm, and the charismatic auctioneer Reid Robinson fueling the bidding excitement, Art of the Guitar is set to be an unforgettable blend of creativity, community spirit, and generosity. It’s an event not to be missed!

Learn About Our Organization
Foundation 45 is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that funds counseling services for mental health, addiction and suicide survivors. Based in Deep Ellum, the organization brings awareness to unaddressed topics such as suicide, addiction, and depression that commonly occur within the creative community. Expanding beyond the creative community, they offer an array of complimentary services to anyone, which include group counseling, focus groups (such LGTBQIA+, Women of Color, and Remix Recovery). By combining these services and community fundraisers, Foundation 45 strives to redefine the mental health stigmas of musicians, artists, and everyone in between.
